Hit the town
G-Shock wanted a new website where they could not only market their watches but also drive engagement by promoting the vibrant culture that has grown around the brand. We created a concept called "Hour Town," a social media platform that could use brand ambassadors to engage visitors, start conversations, and increase visit times.
PLUG INTO THE GRID
"Hour Town" is a community where visitors can engage with each other and talk about music, skateboarding, street-art, fashion... all things G-Shock. Each marker on the map is a different social point in town, and visitors can use Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram plugins to start conversations about the watches and lifestyles. The main focus of the site is to let users express themselves, connect with others, and engage with brand ambassadors like Lupe Fiasco and Ke$ha.
